Digital Distribution in Japan
It is easy to get your music on Apple Music Japan, Spotify Japan, Amazon Japan and YouTube Music Japan yourself using a digital distributor such as CDBaby, TuneCore, ReverbNation, DistroKid, etc. For most people, this is enough.
The main and most popular music plaforms used in Japan are Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, AWA, Line Music, kkbox
Ask you current digital distributor if they distribute to the above platforms.
There are also some other Japanese music platforms (but not popularly used as the above).
